The basic method of access control is a lock and key but when more than a handful of people need access multiple keys sometimes drop the level of security. That's where digital and electronic access control come in.

 

 

 

 

For low use light to medium traffic mechanical access control is adequate. But as the name implies this is a mechanical device that will wear as it is used. This should be taken into account when deciding what type of device is required.  

For medium to heavy use we recommend electromechanical or electro-magnetic lock access control. controlled by either keypad, card swipe or key fob

For heavy use we recommend electronic access control usually in the form of a electro-magnetic lock. controlled by either keypad, card swipe or key fob
