Please let me introduce our company and the services that we can offer to you.

Access Solutions Northern is a family firm  that can provide specialists in the repair, maintenance and installation of all types of electrically operated automatic doors, manual commercial doors and access control entry systems.

We specialize in the automation of existing door systems for DDA compliance

We also have a supply only division for all common automatic door components and are registered ERREKA distributors

Our Mission

We are a small specialist company that aims to deliver the ideal solution to our customers with a level of dedication and service that we feel is second to none.

We are at a size where we can handle most jobs and still keep our relationship with our customers personal. Our aim is to offer our customers the very best value for money this does not directly translate to cheapest.

There are cheaper operators on the market but this does not equate to value. As a company we have an installation arm and a service arm, we aim not only to install your door but to look after the door for its full life, to that end we feel that our products are placed ideally to offer the perfect mix of value for money with longevity. As we aim to be around years after the install we cannot afford to offer low quality inadequate products.

Company Profile

Due to our size Access Solutions Northern Limited can help and advise at a personal level. All job coordinators can be contacted 24/7 so giving you the answers when you think of the question.

That does not mean that we can not cope with the larger jobs, now that we are importing direct from the manufacturers in Spain, Ireland and Germany  we have the buying power to give a very competitive price across the board to installers and end users. This also gives us the inside track on new developments and the implementation of changes that we and our customers fell would enhance an already good product. That does not mean we are not buying British products as unfortunately there are no automatic door parts manufactured in the UK.

Our firm was founded on the back of dissatisfied customers who were sick of faceless conglomerates with their 0845 numbers where you could never contact the correct person and when an engineer arrived he would not have the skill set to help as anyone would be sent out on any job.

I had been in the industry for over 25 years From apprentice up to area manager and at one point left the office life and returned to the field as an engineer. This was all down to the greedy nature of the large firms and the way that they would treat so call good customers, and yes we are all in business to make a profit but there are ways and means of achieving that. Our aim is to make money by giving a quality product and service to our customers no matter what size they are, be it one operator or 30 our commitment to customer service is second to none.

To help achieve this all end user installs come with a free maintenance visit within the first 12 months to ensure optimal performance of the operator and also to comply with the BS7036 “safety at automatic doors for pedestrian use” health and safety regulations, this stipulates that all automatic doors be maintained on a 6 monthly bases to ensure that they are operating to the above safety requirements.

To end all I can say is if you are in the market for an automatic door give us a ring or drop us a mail
